Dem Tricia Zunker edged GOP rival Tom Tiffany in fundraising during the final reporting period ahead of their May 12 special election for northern Wisconsin’s 7th CD.
Still, Tiffany, a GOP state senator from Minocqua, has outraised Zunker, a Ho-Chunk Supreme Court justice and president of the Wausau School Board, 3-to-1 for the full campaign.
The most recent report, covering April 1-22, shows Zunker had $154,963 in receipts, $139,217 in expenses and had $124,895 in the bank for the stretch run.
Tiffany, meanwhile, reported $145,211 in receipts, $167,863 in expenses and $228,643 in the bank.
