Assembly Speaker Robin Vos, R-Rochester, has filed a lawsuit seeking to block a subpoena from the House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.
In the suit, filed yesterday, Vos argues the committee’s subpoena seeking information about his call with former President Trump two months ago infringes on the speaker’s legislative immunity from civil process.
