Senate Dems on Friday elected Dianne Hesselbein, of Middleton, as the next minority leader.
Hesselbein replaces Melissa Agard, of Madison, who stepped down to focus on a run for Dane County executive next year.
Hesselbein said after the vote she was honored to have “earned the confidence of this inspirational, hard-working and talented group of senators.”
