MADISON – Today, Senator Melissa Agard’s campaign announced wide support from current and former mayors for her campaign to be the next Dane County Executive.

Senator Agard was born and raised in Dane County and is the mother of four sons. She currently represents Wisconsin’s 16th Senate District and was unanimously elected as Senate Democratic Leader in November 2022. Prior to her time in the State Senate, Agard served in the Wisconsin State Assembly and on the Dane County Board.
