Madison – Sen. Jesse James (R - Altoona) celebrated the securing of $15 million for Chippewa Valley hospitals Wednesday. The move comes after Governor Evers partially signed Senate Bill 1015, a bill authored by Sen. James which redirects funds previously intended for HSHS, into law. Senate Bill 1015 is now 2023 Wisconsin Act 97.
