(WISCONSIN) - The Biden administration announced on Thursday its extension of eligibility of work permit renewals for those awaiting approval from 180 to 540 days. This rule will be effective April 8th and is expected to benefit up to 800,000 immigrants, including asylum seekers and refugees, who were at risk of losing their work permits.
