WAUNAKEE – Today, Representative Alex Joers (D-Waunakee) attended the “Day Without Child Care” advocacy event at the Waunakee Village Park.  He released the following statement:

“Wisconsin’s child care professionals are the backbone of our workforce.  I will continue to uplift the importance of child care and early education because it remains essential to supporting working families across our state. The most responsible thing we can do is invest in child care and early education. I appreciated joining parents, providers, educators, and kids who attended the Day Without Child Care event in Waunakee. We must continue to support our local child care providers and highlight the importance of early education.”
