(Madison) – Voters in the First Assembly District will have a chance to make their voices heard. On Friday, Representative Joel Kitchens announced four listening sessions throughout the area. Representative Kitchens says these listening sessions are crucial when working on the state budget.

“Every budget cycle, I try to hear from constituents about the issues that concern them. My goal is to hear from as many people as possible about how we can improve upon the governor’s budget recommendations and continue to prioritize what’s important to Wisconsin residents.”

Representative Kitchens will hold four listening sessions on Friday, May 30th at the following locations:

  • 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Kress Pavilion,  7845 Church Street, Egg Harbor
  • Noon to 1:00 pm, Sturgeon Bay Public Library, 107 South 4th Avenue, Sturgeon Bay
  • 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Algoma City Hall, 416 Fremont Street, Algoma
  • 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Scott Town Office, 2621 Jody Drive, New Franken

“I encourage everyone to attend. Hearing comments, concerns, and opinions from the people I represent helps me craft the best possible budget for our state,” Kitchens said.

Representative Kitchens represents Door, Kewaunee, and parts of Brown County.
