West Allis, Wis. – School Choice Wisconsin (SCW) President Nicholas Kelly and SCW Board Chair Brenda White announced today that Kelly has accepted the position as President/Principal of Catholic Central High School in Burlington, Wisconsin, effective July 14.

“Nic’s leadership has come at a historic time for school choice in Wisconsin. SCW co-chaired a statewide coalition that achieved the largest growth in per-pupil funding in program history,” said School Choice Wisconsin Board Chair Brenda White. “During his tenure, statewide student enrollment grew by 9,704. The number of participating schools has grown by 46, largely thanks to his outreach across the state. Nic has served as a leading voice for parental choice, and his commitment to educational freedom has made a difference for families and students. We thank him for his dedicated efforts and wish him all the best in his new role.”

“It has been a great honor and privilege to have led and been part of School Choice Wisconsin for the last four years. I look forward to continuing to be a champion for kids and parents,” Nic Kelly said in a statement. “I am thankful and blessed for this new opportunity to be part of Catholic Central High School’s legacy. I look forward to building on their traditions and success.”

Kelly is the former principal of St. Thomas More Catholic High School and has been SCW President since September 2021.
