MADISON, Wis. — Radical Hakeem Jeffries is visiting Milwaukee on June 28 for an event hosted by the far-left Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC) and organized by the progressive activist group People for the American Way. This event is a blatant attempt to push a radical agenda.
Jeffries has a troubling history of opposing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and advocating policies that weaken public safety. He has repeatedly criticized ICE operations, accusing agents of “aggressive overreach” and expressing intent to expose their identities, a move that endangers officers and their families by inviting doxxing and harassment. His inflammatory rhetoric, comparing ICE agents to Soviet secret police and Nazis, has been condemned as incitement that fuels violence against federal officers, who face a reported 413% increase in assaults. While Jeffries has publicly denied supporting “defund the police” rhetoric, his actions and affiliations with far-left groups suggest otherwise, creating a dangerous environment for law enforcement.
“Wisconsin families deserve leadership that prioritizes their safety, not reckless attacks on the brave men and women of ICE and law enforcement,” said Chairman Brian Schimming. “Hakeem Jeffries’ radical agenda, from threatening to doxx federal agents to pushing policies that undermine police, is a direct threat to our communities. His visit to Milwaukee is nothing but a platform to double down on these divisive, anti-ICE policies.”
Wisconsin Republicans stand for common-sense solutions: secure borders, strong law enforcement, and policies that empower families and businesses. We call on Milwaukee residents to reject Jeffries’ dangerous agenda and demand leadership that upholds law and order.
