MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers today announced he is now accepting applications for Price County District Attorney on a rolling basis until the vacancy is filled after he previously began seeking applicants on June 3, 2025.
The appointment will fill a vacancy created by District Attorney Matthew McElroy’s resignation, effective July 7, 2025. The new district attorney will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term that ends January 2029.
