Madison, WI – Rep. Scott Allen (R-Waukesha) released the following statement regarding the recent heavy rain and flooding in Waukesha:
“The rainfall and flooding have been incredible. I have reached out to the mayor to coordinate any possible state support and resources along with Sen. Bradley. Angila and I are so grateful that no lives have been lost, and our thoughts are with all those affected.
“Any time our community faces a challenge, Waukesha first responders and the public works department step up, and their swift action has been critical in managing this challenge. They’ve done good work in protecting infrastructure and people. Their dedication is a testament to the strength of our community.
“Certainly, keep friends and neighbors in your prayers, and perhaps be the answer to someone’s prayer. Lending a helping hand can mean so much for those affected.
