His announcement will be held on Wednesday, August 20 th at 2:00pm and should last for no more than 10 minutes. The location of the announcement will be at Mitchell BOULEVARD Park (not to be confused with Mitchell Park) and the exact location of the announcement will be at the corner of N. General Mitchell Boulevard and N. Story Parkway in Milwaukee. The location was set so a view of the exterior, mainly the first base side of American Family Field stadium could easily provide a backdrop while Mr. Strnad is making his announcement.
The reason for the aforementioned location and backdrop is because Ryan has worked at both American Family Field and at County Stadium since 1988 (at age 16), he has been politically active there by getting involved with the union Workers United as well as founding his own political action committee & lobbying group, Drinks In The Seats®.
The campaign, “Ryan Strnad for Governor” has already been registered, a link to the campaign website as well as a link to the Drinks In The Seats website is on the email containing this press release file. Pictures of Ryan Strnad are also included and allowed for use by all media outlets.
We will have audio-visual equipment on site and we are in the process of acquiring a microphone tower for microphones to be clamped to. Hopefully, we wont have to use a tent.
