MADISON, Wis. – The Republican Party of Wisconsin has named Stephen Mueller as its new Executive Director. Mueller will direct the RPW’s operations and strategy for the 2026 cycle.

“I am thrilled to announce Stephen Mueller as our new Executive Director. His experience in multiple states, and here in Wisconsin over the last year, has shown his ability to lead the team,” said WisGOP Chairman Brian Schimming. “The 2026 elections will be crucial to ensuring a trifecta continues in Washington, DC, and taking back our state from the far-left control of Tony Evers and Democrats.”

“Wisconsin is a proven battleground state, and we must win in 2026,” said Mueller. “I am eager to continue working on behalf of all of our candidates to keep Republican control in DC and deliver a trifecta in Wisconsin.”

Prior to his experience at the Republican Party of Wisconsin, Mueller served as the Republican National Committee State Director and RNC Election Integrity Director in Iowa, where he played a role in supporting the 2024 Iowa presidential caucuses and successfully launched Iowa’s first modern Election Integrity program in 2021.
