MADISON, WI – On Monday, State Representative Jenna Jacobson and State Senator Brad Pfaff announced new legislation to establish a 3-day back-to-school tax holiday each August. During which families will be able to do their back to school shopping without paying sales tax. Capped at $150 an item for clothing and $100 an item for supplies, this bill is an intentional first step towards cutting costs for Wisconsin families.

On Wednesday morning, Rep. Jacobson and Sen. Pfaff held a press conference to promote their legislation and to call for bipartisan support. As a result, the message of democrats leading the way in addressing rising prices has been carried to every corner of the state.
