MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking public comment on the proposed Green Tier contract renewal with Inpro Corporation (Inpro).
The DNR’s Green Tier program provides credible recognition to organizations committed to going above and beyond compliance. Specifically, Tier 2 participants meet rigorous requirements formalized through a contract. Each contract is negotiated with the DNR and allows for tailored incentives that drive environmental improvements.
Inpro, located in Muskego, is a global manufacturer of high-performance, design-forward architectural products used by building professionals. Their products include door and wall protection, washroom and expansion joint systems, privacy solutions, elevator protection, architectural signage and commercial window treatments.
Inpro joined Tier 1 in 2014 and advanced to Tier 2 in 2020 after implementing an ISO 14001-certified environmental management system. Over the past five years, the company has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to environmental leadership, including a 72.2% reduction in waste, making significant progress towards its zero-waste-to-landfill goal.
The proposed renewal contract includes updated language clarifying Inpro’s obligations and benefits under the program. If approved, the agreement would extend Inpro’s participation for an additional five years. The proposed contract does not include any regulatory flexibilities that would alter how the DNR regulates Inpro’s compliance.
The public is encouraged to submit comments by Sept. 25, 2025 to:
