MADISON - Today, the 7th Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals granted the DNR’s request for a stay of the EPA’s final rule classifying Southeast Wisconsin and Sheboygan counties as “Serious” nonattainment areas under the 2015 ozone standard. WMC has long advocated for such actions to be taken and applauds the Court of Appeals for its decision.
