MADISON… Assembly Majority Leader Tyler August (R-Walworth) released the following
statement in response to shooting of Charlie Kirk:
“This afternoon Charlie Kirk was senselessly murdered while speaking at Utah Valley University. Regardless of political differences, this act of violence is unconscionable and has no place in our public life. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife, children, and all who mourn his passing. We cannot allow violence to replace debate in our country. I call on all elected officials to condemn this monstrous act”
