In case you missed it, the Democratic Lt. Governors Association (DLGA) announced it will make a historic $2 million investment – the largest ever made to a Lt. Governor running for higher office – to support Sara Rodriguez’s campaign for Wisconsin governor. This marks the largest commitment to a Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate this cycle.
“We believe in Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez’s ability to positively impact Wisconsin so much that we are committing to spend $2 million on her behalf to ensure that she wins the Democratic nomination for governor,” said Kevin Holst, DLGA executive director.

“With DLGA’s support, we’ll take our message to all 72 counties, build the strongest campaign in the field, and make sure we take our fight to lower costs, protect health care, and defend our freedoms all the way to the governor’s office,” said Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez. “Together we can defeat Tom Tiffany and stop his dangerous plans to cut health care, raise costs, and divide our communities – and instead build a future where every Wisconsinite can afford to see a doctor, keep a roof overhead, and know their kids will have even more opportunity than they did.”
The DLGA’s investment underscores what Wisconsinites across the state are already seeing: Sara Rodriguez is the frontrunner in the Democratic primary and the strongest candidate to take on Tom Tiffany in the general election. With her 72-county strategy, grassroots energy, and growing list of national and local endorsements, Sara is well-positioned to lead Democrats to victory in 2026.
