La Crosse Police Department Officer Josh Rollins Named 95th Assembly District First Responder of the Year

MADISON, WI – Yesterday, the Wisconsin State Assembly honored first responders across Wisconsin. Representative Billings recognized Officer Josh Rollins on behalf of the 95th Assembly District.

Officer Rollins has served with the La Crosse Police Department since 2014 and received the Life Preservation Award from the La Crosse Police Department for successfully administering CPR on an unconscious person in 2019. He has been assigned to the Neighborhood Resource Unit since 2022 and works to connect members of the community, including homeless populations, with local resources. Officer Rollins has collaborated with the Parks and Recreation Department to assist with their programs and worked with youth at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater La Crosse.
