JUNEAU, Wis. — Dodge County Assistant District Attorney Shawn Woller today announced his candidacy for Dodge County Circuit Court Judge, Branch 1, seeking to succeed the Honorable Judge Brian Pfitzinger, who will retire at the end of his term in 2026 and has endorsed Woller to serve as his successor.

Woller brings more than a decade of prosecutorial experience to the race, with a career marked by a steadfast commitment to justice, accountability, and community safety across multiple Wisconsin jurisdictions. His proven integrity and leadership have earned him the endorsement of retiring Judge Brian Pfitzinger, Dodge County District Attorney Andrea Will and Sheriff Dale Schmidt.

A 2012 graduate of Marquette University Law School, Woller began his legal career later that year as an Assistant District Attorney in Douglas County, where he handled a broad range of criminal cases. In 2015, he joined the Waukesha County District Attorney’s Office, prosecuting both misdemeanor and felony matters. Since 2021, he has focused on the prosecution of sensitive crimes and crimes against children. He has served in the Dodge County District Attorney’s Office since March 2023, where he continues to prosecute cases ranging from retail theft and impaired driving to serious sexual assault and child abuse. Woller has conducted more than 35 jury trials during his tenure as a Wisconsin prosecutor.

Woller and his wife, Jessica, live in Watertown, Dodge County, with their four children.

“As judge, I will uphold the rule of law and the Constitution while ensuring that every person who comes before the court is treated fairly, with dignity and respect,” Woller said.
