De Pere, WI – State Representative Benjamin Franklin (R–88th District), visited De Pere Fire Rescue this morning to present Fireman Jesse Belleau with his citation for First Responder of the Year.

His unwavering commitment to protecting and uplifting our community does not go unnoticed and we are all truly grateful.”
Firemen Belleau finished his military service in 2020 and joined De Pere Fire Rescue. From that time, he has been a valued member of the Tactical Emergency Medical Services Team working with Brown County SWAT. He also serves as a Paramedic Preceptor, taking the lead in teaching and mentoring paramedic students during their clinical training with De Pere Fire Rescue.
The 88th Assembly District represents portions of Brown County including the communities of Allouez, Bellevue, De Pere, Rockland, and Ledgeview.
