EAU CLAIRE, Wisc. – Today, the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund endorsed Rebecca Cooke, candidate for Congress in Wisconsin’s Third Congressional District.

“Our way of life depends on a strong economy, reliable access to affordable energy, and elected leaders who will protect the land that our parents and grandparents passed down to us,” Rebecca Cooke said. “I’m proud to earn the endorsement of the League of Conservation Voters and look forward to working with them to deliver lower energy costs and a clean energy economy that creates good-paying jobs in Western Wisconsin.”

Since the 1990 election cycle, LCV Action Fund, the connected federal political action committee (PAC) of the League of Conservation Voters, has helped to elect leaders who stand up for a healthy environment and to defeat anti-environment candidates who oppose climate action.

Rebecca is endorsed by U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin, 15 Members of Congress, State Senator Brad Pfaff, International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Councils 7 & 82, Office and Professional Employees International Union, Sheet Metal, Air, Rail, and Transportation (SMART) Union, UFCW Local 1473, Wisconsin Laborers’ District Council, American Association for Justice (AAJ), End Citizens United, the Blue Dog Coalition, the New Dem Action Fund, Elect Democratic Women, EMILY’s List, Welcome PAC, and the National Coalition to Protect Social Security and Medicare PAC. She’s also garnered the support of a broad coalition of farmers, small business owners, educators and healthcare workers across western Wisconsin. View the full list of endorsers here.
