Fond du Lac, Wis. — November 12, 2025 — Today, Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney announced the endorsement of the Milwaukee Police Association, the union representing police officers in Wisconsin’s largest city.

“The Milwaukee Police Association is honored to endorse your candidacy for Wisconsin Attorney General,” the official endorsement letter reads. “During these increasingly trying times, the over 1,200 men and women of the Milwaukee Police Association appreciate leaders like you who are willing to stand and be an advocate for Law Enforcement Professionals.”

Toney is a tough and experienced prosecutor, and having been raised in a law enforcement family, knows firsthand the sacrifices made by those who serve and their loved ones.

“It’s time that Wisconsin has an Attorney General who puts public safety first and who stands up for law enforcement,” said Toney. “I’m grateful to receive the Milwaukee Police Association’s support, and I look forward to working with them to protect our families and communities.”

Toney announced his campaign last month, pledging that as Attorney General, he will put public safety over politics and return the Department of Justice to its core mission: to fight crime, support law enforcement, protect families, and uphold the law.
