MADISON – Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation is pulling back the curtain for a glimpse of rural Wisconsin with its new podcast, The Rural View.
Hosted by Wisconsin Broadcaster Hall of Fame member Bob Meyer and WFBF’s Executive Director of Public Relations Amy Eckelberg, the show introduces listeners to Wisconsin Farm Bureau members, their farms and the issues impacting rural life.
“The Rural View gives listeners a front-row seat to the realities of rural life,” said WFBF President Brad Olson. “We are proud to share the voices of the people working hard to strengthen Wisconsin agriculture every single day.”
The Rural View opens the window to the view of Wisconsin farmers and rural residents and the challenges that they face. Episodes cover a wide range of topics, from Farm Bureau involvement and local government to advocacy and farmer mental health.
Four episodes are now available for listening on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube. New episodes will be released twice a month on the second and fourth Wednesdays.
