WEST BEND — Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann today announced the endorsement of 55 local elected officials from across the state, as his grassroots-powered campaign for governor continues to gain momentum.
“My campaign is all about returning power back to the people through their vote, their local communities, and by shrinking the size and cost of government to make life more affordable. That’s why I’m so proud to have the support of these county leaders — because unlike the political dysfunction of DC and Madison, local officials know how to get things done for their neighbors,” Josh said.
Josh recently announced plans to decentralize state government by moving key agencies out of Madison and to communities around the state, has campaigned all across the state, having completed a full 72 county tour of Wisconsin once and nearly halfway through a second circuit.
