Madison, WI – Representative Chanz Green (R-Grand View) issued the following statement after two of his bills were signed into law by Governor Evers earlier today:

“With the governor signing these bills into law, we’re expanding opportunity for students and strengthening our county forests. Senate Bill 158 broadens the applicant pool for county forest administrators by valuing practical experience alongside formal education. Senate Bill 210 ensures small high schools have the same clear path to academic scholarships as larger schools, creating a fair, merit-based process that helps keep talent in Wisconsin.

These two newly enacted bills will secure a stronger future for Wisconsin’s students and forests.”

Senate Bill 158 is now 2025 Wisconsin Act 65.

Senate Bill 210 is now 2025 Wisconsin Act 80.
