WISCONSIN DELLS – Wisconsin Farmers Union (WFU) debuted a new short documentary, All of America, Am I, during the organization’s 95th annual state convention. The film explores how industrial markets and corporate consolidation shape the daily realities of farmers, rural businesses, and the communities that depend on them.

Through grounded storytelling and intimate interviews, All of America, Am I moves from a high-level look at national market forces to the lived experiences of four Wisconsin agricultural operations: Driftless Seed Supply, the Breitenmoser dairy farm, Meadowlark Organics, and Driftless Tannery. Their stories illustrate how consolidation impacts everything from seed and feed prices to market access, farm viability, and community resilience.

Narrated by Wisconsin author Michael Perry, the film humanizes complex economic pressures while highlighting the inspired actions farmers are taking to reclaim fairness, local control, and hope.

“Farmers across Wisconsin are feeling the squeeze,” said WFU President Darin Von Ruden. “This film shines a light on both the challenges created by concentrated markets and the grassroots solutions our members are building every day. We hope it encourages people to get involved and be part of the movement for a stronger rural future.”

At its core, All of America, Am I is a call to action—inviting viewers to join in the fight for competitive markets, fair prices, and thriving family farms.

The documentary was made possible through generous support from Farm Aid.
