Housing Advocate, Caregiver to an Aging Parent, and Former Alder Juliana Bennett Raises $13.2K in Q4 2025 for District 76 Assembly Campaign.

MADISON, WIS. —  Former Madison Alder Juliana Bennett announced today her campaign for Wisconsin State Assembly raised $13,169 from a wave of grassroots donors across Wisconsin.

As Democrats eye a trifecta in 2026, Bennett’s campaign offers a glimpse of what the left wing of the caucus majority will look like.

“Finance reports are a reflection of values. Our campaign is not built around a wealthy few or treating supporters like an ATM. We’re supported by everyday working people who are willing to invest their hard-earned money in delivering an affordable Wisconsin for all,” Bennett said.

“Campaigns often waste money that could go toward helping our neighbors. That’s why we’re pledging to do something different: invest in young people, union workers, and Madison. We’re building organizing capacity here to outlast this election; a network of people who will continue to fight fascism and make material improvements to our lives.”

Juliana Bennett’s campaign, raising over $13.2K through small-dollar contributions, is a community statement: Madison is ready for bold, uncompromising leaders who will redefine what’s possible and push the state to do more: housing for all, raise the minimum wage, and fully fund our public schools.

Bennett is the product of a working-class family. A graduate of Madison West High School and UW-Madison, Bennett is firmly rooted in Madison and ready to unapologetically fight for our community. She is a caregiver to an aging parent and a firebrand advocate for the working class. As an Alder on the Madison Common Council, she legalized duplexes citywide, helped pass over 1,000 units of affordable housing, invested millions in homeless and undocumented communities, stood up for Gaza and Madison’s communities of color, and delivered fair municipal maps. Bennett keeps fighting because she knows exactly what it’s like when the system fails.

“Right now, we are under attack. Our rights are being ignored, and our communities are in danger. I will fight to protect our democracy and ensure Wisconsin is a safe place where everyone can thrive. But we cannot do this alone.”
