WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Derrick Van Orden today announced more than $22 million secured for Wisconsin’s Third Congressional District through his Community Project Funding (CPF) requests, delivering critical federal investments directly to Wisconsin communities.
“I’ve been clear from day one: I will fight to send taxpayer dollars back where they belong, to the people of Wisconsin’s Third District,” said Congressman Van Orden. These investments strengthen our small towns, support our first responders, expand healthcare access, and fix the infrastructure that Wisconsin families rely on every day. I’m proud to bring real, tangible results home for western Wisconsin.”
The following Community Project Funding requests are sponsored and secured by Rep. Van Orden:
- Cuba City: Water and Sewer Infrastructure Replacement — $1,586,913
- Viola: New Municipal Well and Water Resiliency Project — $1,344,750
- Wisconsin Rapids: Family Health Center of Marshfield Expansion for primary care, dental, and substance use treatment — $3,000,000
- West Salem: Regional Public Safety Building serving police, EMS, dispatch, and fire — $2,500,000
- Genoa: Fire Engine Replacement for the Harmony Fire Department — $450,000
- River Falls: Modern radio communications for police and firefighters — $431,000
- Monroe County/Sparta: CTH ET Multimodal & Freight Corridor improvements, enhancing safety and access to Fort McCoy and the Tomah VA — $8,445,000
- Chippewa County: Mortuary Facility reducing costs and response time for law enforcement — $600,000
- Fennimore (Township of Mount Ida): Road safety upgrades for families and local businesses — $175,000
- Prairie du Chien: Wastewater Treatment Facility upgrades to meet DNR standards — $1,250,000
- Altoona: Hillcrest Water System replacement to provide safe, reliable municipal service — $2,250,000
