WI – Brayden Myer, a proud lifelong Wisconsinite and small business owner, has announced his candidacy as a Republican in the race to be Wisconsin’s next Secretary of State.

At his campaign kickoff, Myer told supporters, “What Wisconsin needs is a new generation of leadership with a fresh perspective to best serve the citizens of Wisconsin. We do not need more status quo.”

Myer emphasized, “I will hold this office accountable, increase transparency, and run it as efficiently as possible. Most importantly, I will restore the trust of the people to this office.”

“With that trust,” Myer continued, “I want to reform the Secretary of State position to put it in charge of overseeing elections. As a result, voters will have someone they can hold accountable for elections.”

Brayden Myer graduated high school with 91 college credits and six months later earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science along with minors in Public Administration, Democracy and Justice Studies, and a certificate in Organizational Development from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, being designated Magna Cum Laude. Brayden has experience assisting constituents as a former congressional staffer. He is the founding Vice Chair of the Manitowoc County chapter of Moms for Liberty and the founder of Manitowoc County Patriots. He was the vice president of the Lincoln High School Young Republicans and treasurer of the UWGB College Republicans.
