Yesterday, Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate Tom Tiffany told Newsmax that the Epstein files were “an effort by Democrats to divert attention” from Donald Trump’s disastrous economic record, emphasizing his plans to run on the higher costs Wisconsinites are facing as he continues to vote to jack them up even higher.
Tiffany suggested that Trump — who appears extensively in the files that have been released — said that the president “was actually one of the people that knew that Jeffrey Epstein was a bad guy,” before dismissing discussion of the files as “an effort by Democrats to divert attention from Republican successes” on the economy, as voters continue to reel from surging prices. Then, he voted again to preserve Trump’s tariffs on Canada that are causing costs for Wisconsinites to skyrocket and hurting Wisconsin workers and businesses
“In one breath, Tom Tiffany managed to both downplay Jeffrey Epstein and his allies’ disgusting sexual abuse of minors and blatantly lie to voters about Trump’s disastrous economy — all before casting yet another vote to keep costs high and inflict more pain on Wisconsin workers and businesses,” said DGA spokesperson Izzi Levy. “Tom Tiffany is showing Wisconsin voters exactly why he should never be governor.”
