MADISON— State Representative Rob Swearingen (R-Rhinelander) honors Speaker Robin Vos for his years of service and leadership to the Wisconsin State Assembly.
“Speaker Vos has dedicated years of service to the people of Wisconsin, and our state is stronger because of his leadership. I am sincerely grateful for his commitment to advancing policies that promoted fiscal responsibility, economic growth, and greater opportunity for Wisconsin families. Robin is one of the smartest people I have had the pleasure of working with, and he has always kept the best interests of Wisconsin at the forefront of every decision.
He has also been a true friend. I’ve enjoyed many great conversations and a lot of laughs beyond the granite dome of the Capitol. Robin is the definition of a statesman. I am personally thankful for his friendship and mentorship over the years. He has been a steady and principled leader, and someone I have been proud to serve alongside. Robin’s leadership has left a lasting imprint on Wisconsin. Though often underappreciated, his impact will be felt for years to come. I wish him and his family all the very best as they begin this next chapter.”
