GREEN BAY, WI — State Rep. Amaad Rivera-Wagner (D-Green Bay) issued the following statement upon news that a number of Wisconsin school districts, including the Green Bay Area Public School District, have filed suit against the State Legislature over what they say is a broken school funding formula:
“Unfortunately, the State Legislature has refused to actually pay its bills when it comes to school funding. This lawsuit is a natural result of the Legislature abdicating its responsibility to our public schools and our children.”
