MADISON, Wis. — While gas prices are rising throughout Wisconsin as a result of the Trump administration’s strikes on Iran, Wisconsin Republicans including Tom Tiffany, Derrick Van Orden, and Bryan Steil have all stayed silent on this most recent addition to the affordability crisis.

“Despite campaigning and cheering on lower gas prices, Wisconsin Republicans like Tom Tiffany, Derrick Van Orden, and Bryan Steil are remaining silent on the skyrocketing price-at-the-pump that is adding to the affordability crisis they created,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Rachel La Due. “Wisconsinites are already struggling to make ends meet as a result of rising costs from the GOP’s tariff taxes and do not need Tom Tiffany, Derrick Van Orden, and Bryan Steil’s complicity to this most recent crisis—they need leaders. We know they care more about Trump’s love than serving their constituents, and Wisconsinites will punish them for that in November.”
