Chelsea Domer Joins Forward Together Wisconsin as Deputy Executive Director

MILWAUKEE — Forward Together Wisconsin (FTW) today announced a staff expansion, with Chelsea Domer, an experienced non-profit leader, joining the organization in the new role of Deputy Executive Director.

Chelsea Domer has fifteen years of non-profit leadership experience and has expertise in program design and improvement, cross-organizational facilitation, fund development, and in building successful teams. Before joining the Forward Together Wisconsin team, she was an Associate Director at Results for America where she launched and led several initiatives to strengthen evidence-based decision making in government. She also served as the Managing Director of a place-based partnership in Racine, Wisconsin where she focused on improving local education and economic mobility outcomes, and led a team that supported government and non-profit partners in making data-driven decisions and implementing evidence-based initiatives.

Throughout her career, she has raised millions of dollars for non-profits, candidate campaigns, and advocacy organizations. She is a lifelong Wisconsin resident, and she started her career in state government as a Legislative Aide in the Wisconsin State Assembly. She received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin.

Since its inception in 2023 with a mission to turbo-charge and leverage the trillions in new federal clean energy investments, FTW has emerged as a liaison, convener, and trusted validator among partner organizations and communities around the state. This work supports outreach, education, organizing, and technical assistance efforts that help ensure public funds are invested equitably and impactfully in communities fighting the climate crisis.

“Despite uncertainty and hostility to climate progress in Washington, DC, our mission to make the sustainable attainable is not only undeterred–it’s growing stronger. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Chelsea Domer to the team to help expand our efforts,” said Forward Together Wisconsin Executive Director Peter Drummond. “In just a few years we’ve been able to support partners in seeking more than $20 million for efficiency and renewable projects and helped low-income homeowners unlock nearly one million dollars in energy efficiency rebates. Chelsea’s deep Wisconsin roots, success in fund development, and track record of developing teams that deliver meaningful results will ensure that we can take this work to the next level..”
