MADISON — Assembly Majority Leader Tyler August (R-Walworth) released the following statement regarding Rep. Rob Brooks:
“I want to thank Rob for his years of service to the people of Wisconsin and, more personally, for his friendship over the years.
“Rob has been a strong and reliable member of our caucus who never lost sight of who he was working for. He brought a practical, common-sense approach to the Legislature and consistently focused on delivering results for his constituents.
“On a personal level, Rob has been someone I’ve been proud to serve alongside. He’s the kind of colleague you can count on and always willing to step up when it matters. Those relationships are what make this job meaningful, and I’m grateful for the time we’ve worked together.
“Public service takes time, energy, and sacrifice, and Rob has given a great deal to this institution and to his district.
“I wish Rob and his family all the best in the next chapter and thank him again for both his service and his friendship.”
