Fond du Lac, Wisconsin — April 10, 2026 — Today, Marty Ryan officially announced his candidacy for Wisconsin’s 60th Assembly District as a Republican, pledging to bring principled, results-driven leadership to Madison.
“Today, I am proud to announce my candidacy for the 60th Assembly District,” said Ryan. “I am running on the values that have long defined our communities: integrity, accountability, hard work, and common sense.”
Ryan, a Fond du Lac County Board Supervisor, President of the Police and Fire Commission, and former City Council President, brings more than 20 years of public service experience, working closely with families, small businesses, and local leaders to address real-world challenges. Throughout his career, he has focused on delivering practical solutions rather than empty promises, emphasizing efficiency, transparency, and responsibility in government.
“Our district deserves leadership that listens and understands the challenges facing everyday citizens,” Ryan said. “We need leaders who not only hear concerns but have the experience and judgment to act decisively.”
Running as a practical conservative, Ryan’s campaign will focus on:
- Fiscal responsibility and accountable government spending
- Strengthening public safety and supporting law enforcement
- Promoting economic growth and supporting local businesses
- Protecting the values that make Wisconsin communities strong
Ryan emphasized that his campaign is centered on restoring trust in government and putting people first.
“This campaign is about ensuring our future is built on opportunity, security, and freedom,” he said. “I am committed to working hard every day to earn the trust and support of the people of this district.”
Ryan is calling on residents across the 60th Assembly District to join his campaign and help move the community—and the state—forward.
