To invest in Wisconsin’s transportation system, Governor Evers recently signed a $2.6 million contract to reconstruct the US 12/18 and County W/Oak Park Road intersection in Deerfield, Dane County. Preliminary work is scheduled to begin April 13.

Paris is the prime contractor for the project. The project is designed to improve safety and mobility at US 12/18 and County W/Oak Park Road by reconstructing the current intersection to a single lane roundabout.

The intersection will be constructed in stages and remain open to through traffic. County W and Oak Park Road will be restricted to right-in and right-out turn movements.

Project completion is scheduled for mid-August. The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions and construction progress.
