MADISON, Wis. — Fresh off of admitting that Republicans up and down the ballot “got our butts kicked” in last week’s election, Tom Tiffany announced a new seven-figure ad buy trying to hit the reset button on his campaign for governor. Tiffany claims to love Wisconsin—but all he’s done in D.C. is raise costs for working Wisconsinites, gut health care and vote for tax breaks for billionaires.

“Tom Tiffany claims he’s all in for Wisconsin—but his record says otherwise. He’s been in D.C. raising costs and gutting health care for working people while billionaires get tax cuts,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Emily Stuckey. “Tiffany is a walking, talking cliché of a D.C. politician. He tells voters one thing and does another. Voters are tired of his cost-raising, Wisconsin-last agenda and will make sure he gets his butt kicked in November.”

Wisconsin Republicans are in midterm turmoil. Every week, a new GOP legislator decides to retire rather than face competitive maps because they see voters showing up in droves to reject Tiffany’s toxic agenda of tariff-taxes and illegal wars that are raising gas prices and squeezing businesses.
