Germantown, WI — Today, State Representative Dan Knodl (R-Germantown) officially announced his candidacy for reelection to the Wisconsin State Assembly to continue representing the people of the 24th Assembly District. He said:

“I am proud to have spent my legislative career fighting for the hardworking families and small business owners of our state to make Wisconsin a better place. I am also extremely thankful for the constituents of the 24th Assembly District for placing their trust in me to be their advocate in Madison.

“My Republican colleagues and I have made considerable progress to deliver Wisconsinites’ tax relief and public safety reform while being faithful stewards of your tax dollars. Despite this, Governor Evers has blocked many truly transformational reforms necessary to reach Wisconsin’s true potential. With Governor Evers deciding not to seek reelection, Republicans have an opportunity to lead once again and have critical legislation signed into law.

“I am running for reelection to be an experienced voice in the Legislature that will be necessary to pass our conservative agenda next session. With the proper leadership in the Governor’s office and the Legislature, we can make Wisconsin a better place for our families and future generations. I look forward to the fulfilling work of earning the support of the 24th district’s constituents in the coming months.”
