MADISON, WIS., – This week, Democratic candidate for the 3rd CD Rodney Rave announced he was suspending his campaign. All Democrats in the Congressional District thank him for his willingness to serve and for his dedication to the people of Wisconsin.
As a former legislator with the Ho-Chunk Nation, union laborer, owner of a highway construction business and a father and grandfather, Rodney Rave has been an indispensable public servant and brought a unique and important perspective to the race to replace Rep. Derrick Van Orden.
“Rodney Rave entered this race to talk about issues of affordability, the economy, tribal rights, and the environment. He was a strong and articulate voice in this race and we will miss his point of view on the issues facing all Wisconsinites. Running for political office is not for the faint of heart, and we so appreciate Rodney Rave’s energy, focus and passion. Thank you Rodney for stepping up!” said 3rd CD Democrats of Wisconsin chair William Garcia.
