To invest in Wisconsin’s transportation system, Governor Evers recently signed a $2,454,566 contract to reconstruct the US 18/151 and County F intersection in Blue Mounds, Dane County. Preliminary work is scheduled to begin May 26.

Rock Road Companies, Inc. is the prime contractor for the project. The project is designed to improve intersection safety by offsetting the US 18/15 right turn lanes onto County F. The addition of J-turns will be placed for left turning traffic at the intersection.

During construction, US 18/151 will remain open with shoulder and lane closures.

Project completion is scheduled for early September. The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions and construction progress.
