LODI – Today, State Sen. Sarah Keyeski endorsed State Sen. Kelda Roys to be the next governor of Wisconsin. Sen. Keyeski’s district spans the counties of Richland, Sauk, Columbia, Dane, Adams, Juneau, and Vernon counties.

Roys, who has more endorsements than any other candidate in the race, continues to build a winning coalition for 2026 and durable power into the years ahead including Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC), the state’s largest union.

Sen. Keyeski issued the following statement in support of Roys’ campaign for governor:

“I am proud to endorse Kelda Roys for Governor of Wisconsin. I have had the pleasure of working alongside Kelda in the State Senate and have seen first-hand her dedication to ensuring all Wisconsinites have the opportunities and freedoms to thrive. I am continually impressed by Kelda’s sharp mind, pragmatism, and fierce advocacy.

Kelda’s robust experience means she knows what it takes to get meaningful work done for Wisconsinites. On the Joint Finance Committee, Kelda has traveled all across our state listening to the needs of Wisconsin residents. As a fellow working mom and small business owner, Kelda understands the top issues facing Wisconsin’s kids, families, workers, and small business owners. She will work hard and fight for all of us.

Kelda is prepared to address our most urgent issues and has meaningful solutions to fix 15 years of damage done by Republican politicians. I believe Kelda is the strong leader Wisconsin needs to meet the moment, stand up to a corrupt and dangerous Trump administration, and move our state forward. That is why I am endorsing Kelda for Wisconsin Governor.”
