Janesville, WI – Today, Congressman Bryan Steil’s campaign announced that Steil fulfilled all the requirements for ballot access for his reelection to the 1st Congressional District, submitting 2,000 signatures – twice the required threshold and the maximum allowable under state law. Steil submitted signatures from every county in the 1st Congressional District.
Following the announcement, Congressman Bryan Steil (WI-01) issued the following statement:
“The overwhelming grassroots support we receive across the district is the strength of our campaign,” said Steil. “I remain focused on the issues that matter most to Wisconsin families: lowering costs, protecting our seniors, making housing more affordable, and keeping our communities safe. I’m grateful for the volunteers who made this possible and for the strong support from families in our community.”
Last cycle, Congressman Steil defeated top Democrat recruit Peter Barca by more than 10%, receiving over 54% of the vote in Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District.
Congressman Steil recently reported more than $5.5 million cash on hand in Q1 of 2026.
