MADISON, Wis. – The Committee to Elect a Republican Senate (CERS) hosted its biennial “Candidate Rollout” this afternoon. Senate President Pro-Tempore, Senator Testin (R-Stevens Point), and members of the Senate Republican Caucus hosted the event to announce the qualified field of candidates who will be running for state senate.
“Senate Republicans are working hard to earn the support of Wisconsinites and ensure that we maintain the majority,” stated Senator Testin. “Our caucus has repeatedly acted in the best interests of the families, businesses and communities in our state; the candidates announced today will undoubtedly continue this important work.”

The partisan primary on August 11, 2026 will determine which candidates are selected to be the Republican nominee for their designated seat in the midterm election. The midterm election will be held November 3, 2026.
