Fond du Lac, WI – June 3, 2026 – Tiffany Brault will be on the ballot for the November 3, 2026 General Election, running as an Independent candidate for Assembly District 60. Her nomination signatures and campaign documents were approved by the Wisconsin Elections Commission.
“I want to thank all those who volunteered their time to help me collect nomination signatures to get on the ballot,” Brault says. “The fact that you believe in me for this position means so much.”
Brault also wishes to thank those who signed her nomination papers, and she greatly values the many conversations she has had so far with residents of the 60th Assembly District. Residents across the district brought up a wide range of issues they want to see the state legislature address. Education funding was a hot topic, as both the Fond du Lac and North Fond du Lac School Districts have seen failed attempts to pass operational referendums over the past few years. Residents are concerned about the future of their public schools, but also about rising property taxes, and they want to see real, sustainable solutions. Brault also discussed the issue of child care accessibility and affordability, which included a conversation with a parent who said he and his wife would have chosen to have more children if child care expenses weren’t so high. Many residents expressed concerns about the rapid development of AI data centers across the state, as they see an uncertain future about how data centers might affect land and water usage and energy costs. Brault also heard from residents who struggle to deal with rising health care costs, and seniors who are worried about becoming the targets of scams.
“There are so many areas where we need to be doing better at the state level for Wisconsin residents, and I am ready to earn the votes of the residents of our district so that I can get to work on those issues,” says Brault. “I’m running as an Independent candidate because I want to
represent our district, not a political party. I believe that focusing on the issues and not partisan politics is how we will move Wisconsin forward.”
