(NEW FRANKEN) …Nic Cravillion, candidate for the Wisconsin First Senate District, signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge today, committing to oppose any effort to raise taxes on Wisconsin citizens and to vote against any net tax increase if elected to the State Senate.
“With the cost of everything as high as it is, Wisconsin families shouldn’t be asked to pay any more to their government,” said Cravillion. “Families across Wisconsin are already feeling the pressure from rising costs and higher bills.”
The Taxpayer Protection Pledge is sponsored by the advocacy organization Americans for Tax Reform, and states:
I, Nic Cravillion, pledge to the taxpayers of the State of Wisconsin that I will oppose and vote against any and all efforts to increase taxes.
“As a father raising a family, homeowner, small business owner, and taxpayer myself, I understand the financial pressures Wisconsin families face every day, from the rising cost of living to increasing property taxes,” said Cravillion. “While basic services must be protected, we cannot continue asking Wisconsin families to pay more. Government needs to live within its means, just like the families and businesses that fund it. That’s why I’m committing to oppose tax increases and fight for responsible budgeting in Madison.”
