LA CROSSE, WI. – Rebecca Cooke has built her campaign around her family’s farm story, but her CCP-linked, anti-energy allies undercuts her claims to be a champion for agriculture and rural Wisconsin.
Cooke is backed by the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), a radical climate group that is hellbent on destroying American energy.
NRDC has a long record of backing extreme anti-energy policies that would crush Wisconsin’s economy. The group supports bans on fracking in multiple states and celebrated efforts to shut down domestic energy production.
NRDC EXTREME ANTI-ENERGY RECORD:
- Supports a nationwide fracking ban, including in Wisconsin, a leading producer of frac sand
- Supports Biden-Harris’ LNG ban that would skyrocket the cost of diesel and fertilizer
- Policies promoted by NRDC would “lead to the mass closure of small farms”
- Opposes Wisconsin’s Line 5 pipeline, which transports “540,000 barrels of light crude oil, light synthetic crude oil, and natural gas liquids” daily
- Backs the Green New Deal, a $93 TRILLION plan that would impose massive costs on families and small farms, including eliminating “farting cows” to reach net-zero emissions
