De Pere, WI – State Senate District 1 candidate Katie Baney today released her Families First Pledge, outlining specific commitments to put families ahead of political insiders and deliver real accountability to the people of Northeast Wisconsin.

In the pledge, Baney commits to holding quarterly town halls in different locations across the district and producing monthly accountability reports drawn from her private sector experience. She also pledges to prioritize the needs of families over political maneuvering.

“I’m focused on delivering results for the families of this district,” Baney said. “I will not prioritize political alliances or favor over the people I’m running to represent. Those relationships will always come second to doing what is right for moms, dads, small business owners, and family farmers.”

In addition to the Families First Pledge, Baney released a slate of priorities including:

1.      Ensuring personal and religious vaccine exemptions remain intact

2.      Protecting small businesses and family farms from aggressive and costly regulations

3.      Preserving and strengthening the Manufacturing and Agriculture Tax Credit

4.      Holding school districts accountable for student outcomes

5.      Protecting your Second Amendment right
